Extracurricular activities give students the opportunity to explore interests, build leadership skills, and connect with their school community outside of the classroom. Newburg High School offers a variety of clubs, organizations, and activities designed to support student growth and involvement.

Participation in extracurriculars is open to all students, and involvement is encouraged throughout the school year.

Career & Academic Organizations

  • Develops leadership skills and agricultural knowledge through hands-on experiences, competitions, and community involvement.

  • Prepares students for careers in business through leadership development, competitive events, and real-world applications.

  • Recognizes high-achieving students and promotes leadership, service, and academic excellence.

  • Provides students with opportunities to design, build, and compete with robots while developing engineering, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.

Arts & Performance

  • Offers students opportunities to develop musical skills through performances, concerts, and school events.

  • Engages students in acting, stage production, and live performances while building confidence and creativity.

  • Encourages artistic expression through various creative projects and activities.

Leadership & Student Involvement

  • Represents the student body, promotes school spirit, and helps organize events and activities throughout the year.

  • Provides students with hands-on experience in journalism, photography, design, and teamwork by creating the school yearbook. Members collaborate to document school events, activities, and student life throughout the year.
